本工作坊將深入探討創新的地球觀測系統架構設計，涵蓋衛星星座規劃、任務設計、操作協調與 AI 應用等議題。
This workshop will explore novel architectures for Earth observation systems, including constellation design, tradespace analysis, mission operations, and applications of AI.
Dr. Selva 擁有豐富的學術與業界背景，曾任 Ariane 5 發射團隊工程師，並於 MIT 與 Cornell 任教多年。
Dr. Selva brings both academic and industry experience, having worked on the Ariane 5 launch team and held faculty roles at MIT and Cornell.

👨🏫 講者簡介 | About the Speaker
Dr. Daniel Selva 是一位專注於太空系統、人工智慧與系統工程交叉領域的學者與研究者。他專長於地球觀測任務的創新架構設計，特別致力於運用 AI 工具進行設計權衡分析與任務最佳化。
他於 麻省理工學院（Massachusetts Institute of Technology, MIT） 獲得太空系統博士學位，曾任教於 康乃爾大學（Cornell University），並為多項 NASA 與 ESA 計畫提供研究支援。他亦於歐洲太空總署（ESA）及法屬圭亞那參與 Ariane 5 火箭任務操作。
Dr. Daniel Selva is an academic and researcher working at the intersection of space systems, AI, and systems engineering. He earned his Ph.D. in Space Systems from MIT, with research contributions to NASA, ESA, and CubeSat missions. Prior to joining Texas A&M, he served at Cornell University and was part of the Ariane 5 Launch Team at Europe’s Spaceport.
